Jeremy and Heather Byrd serve the Lord in Mar del Plata, Argentina, with their three young sons, Robert, Zach, and Haddon.

Both Jeremy and Heather were saved at young ages and both grew up in Christian homes.  Jeremy attended Bible Baptist Church in Utica, Michigan, and at the age of fourteen knew he wanted to be a missionary.  At Bible Camp one evening, he heard a message from Isaiah, Chapter 6, and he felt as though the Lord was speaking to him.  He decided then to answer the call, “Who shall I send, and who shall go for us?”

Heather’s parents surrendered to God’s call for them to enter full-time Christian service in Argentina  when Heather was a teenager as well.  She knew she would serve God as the wife of someone in full-time Christian ministry, but she did not know if that someone would be a pastor, evangelist, or missionary.  She met Jeremy at Ambassador College, and that question was quickly settled!

The Byrds are presently seeking God's direction in seeking new church planting opportunities in the area.
